With 2 high scoring, in form teams goals galore were expected but unfortunately the majority belonged to Boldon after several mistakes through the Wolviston team. The first chance fell to Boldon on 10 mins when Daniel Wright crossed from the right to Levi Collins whose close range shot was cleared for a corner. In reply a cross from Reece Allison found Mikey McGee whose header was comfortably held by Andrew Hunter in the home goal. On 22 mins Boldons Alex Lovatts 25 yard free kick was cleared for a corner by Dean Hudson, however from the corner by Wright was bundled into his own net by the visiting keeper . On 35 mins a break by Collins came to nothing after the in form striker pushed his shot wide. They did however increase their lead 2 mins later after a goal mouth scramble and the ball ping ponging around to eventually find Dan Wright who poked home from close range. A minute later with Wolviston in complete disarray Levi Collins crashed home in style to put the game beyond Wolviston.
H.T. 3-0
In the opening minute of the 2nd period a bit of McGee football magic brought a good save out of keeper Hunter. A mistake in the 54th min on the edge of the box by a Wolviston defender allowed Collins the easiest of chances to put Boldon further in front. Yet another mistake at the back by Wolviston in the 63rd min allowed full back Daniel Nolan the easiest of tasks to score from the 6 yard box followed by Levi Collins making it 6 by bursting forward and smashing home his hat trick. With 5 mins remaining a 35 yard free kick from Adam Hutchinson somehow went past sub keeper Elliott Coils when the stopper should have done much better. With 4 mins left Wolviston finally pulled a goal back after Boldon conceded a penalty and Mikey McGee confidently stroked home the spot kick.
